Following the old traditions of Florentine watchmakers, these unique timepieces are built with the highest standards of quality and ingenuity in Florence. Anonimo was founded in 1997 by the respected designer and businessman Federico Massacesi with close collaboration with Dino Zei, leader of the Italian military diving squad. The name Anonimo (Italian for "anonymous") underlines the ethos by which the company operates. Anonimo watches do not make a statement about the company, but rather about the people who wear them. They represent the individuality of the owner.
The Anonimo Militare Automatico with sapphire-glass crystal is produced as a limited edition watch in partnership with Novitec Rosso. The watch has two unique patents; the calfskin wrist strap is specially treated to allow extended immersion in fresh and salt water, and the unique vanishing crown-locking device. Both these features, along with a very comfortable and ergonomic design, give this timepiece an air of subtle extravagance.
Novitec Rosso and Anonimo are in partnership together with the joint goal of creating exceptional products for exceptional owners. Further collaborations are planned for the future.
